Semi-smoked Minsk sausage — this is one of the sausage products whose recipe was developed in the Belarusian SSR.
Ingredients. In accordance with GOST 16351-80, the recipe for Minsk sausage includes the following ingredients:
Appearance and texture. The semi-smoked Minsk sausage has a cylindrical shape, its surface is dry, the texture is dense.
Color and cross-section pattern. The filling has a pink color, in cross-section you can see pieces of back fat white or pinkish, not larger than 6 mm.
Taste and aroma. Pleasant taste, moderately salty, with the aroma of spices.
Shelf life. In accordance with GOST 16351-80, the Minsk sausage is stored no more than 15 days at temperatures from 0 to 4 °C and relative humidity of 75-78%.

Health benefits. Minsk sausage contains a large amount of protein, which is necessary for growth and development of the body. However, it should be remembered that sausage is a high-calorie product that contains a large amount of fat and salt. Therefore, it is not recommended to consume it in large quantities.
Contraindications. Minsk sausage is not recommended for people with gastrointestinal diseases, cardiovascular diseases, or obesity.
Storage. The Minsk sausage should be stored in a refrigerator at 0 to 4 °C. After opening the package, keep it in the refrigerator for no more than 5 days.
