Sea Bream is a fish that belongs to the carp family. It inhabits the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, as well as the seas that wash the coasts of Europe, Northern Asia and North America.

The sea bream has an elongated body covered with silvery scales. On the belly the scales have a yellowish tint. The fins are gray, and there is a keel between the anal and ventral fins.

Sea bream can reach significant sizes: up to 70 centimeters in length and up to 6 kilograms in weight. However, as a rule, fishermen catch sea bream weighing from 1 to 3 kilograms.

The meat of sea bream is white, tender and low-fat. It is rich in protein, vitamins and minerals such as phosphorus, potassium, calcium, iodine, fluoride and others.

Sea bream is used to prepare a variety of dishes. It can be fried, baked, stewed, boiled, salted, smoked and canned.

However, it is worth remembering that, like any other fish, sea bream may contain parasites, so it should be thoroughly cooked before consumption.
